FINPACK is here to help

The FINPACK Team is always available to help with your questions and provide the training you need. Whether you are a novice user just getting to grips with the software, or an experienced user wanting to dive deeper into the FINPACK tools and functionality, we are to ready to help. Options include:

Press F1 inside FINPACK for dynamic help

Dynamic FINPACK Help and Support

Once you open FINPACK, simply press F1 and you initiate a dynamic Help feature taking you directly to the details you need. From there you can navigate to other areas of the built-in Help by looking at the Table of Contents or searching for the information you need. You can also initiate the built-in FINPACK Help under the Help menu.

Have a more in-depth question? Reach out to our FINPACK Support Team at any time. Our team of experts is available to answer your questions and assist with technical issues. FINPACK Knowledge Base

The online FINPACK Knowledge Base contains a wealth of information including many timely, useful whitepapers on specific functions in FINPACK. Examples include: PPP Loans and the Impact on Credit Analysis, Importing and Exporting Balance Sheet Detail, Sleuthing Cash Discrepancies, and Consolidating Balance Sheets to name a few. Additionally, FINPACK Input Forms are found in the Knowledge Base. These forms can be quite useful when working to gather new customer information.

FINPACK Training Options

FINPACK also offers several training options for your lending team. Choose the option that best meets your needs.

Online training is available for all FINPACK lending users. This online platform provides short video training segments on all FINPACK tools. This allows you to get the training you need when you need it. Feel free to watch all videos sequentially or navigate to the specific topic you are looking to learn more about. If you need log in details, reach out to FINPACK Support. Our team will be happy to assist you.

Training workshops are available several times a year. In this training, users dedicate two days to focus on using FINPACK for credit analysis. Our fast-paced training workshop covers all of FINPACK’s main components, giving participants hands-on experience with case files for both agricultural and commercial businesses. Our next session is tentatively scheduled for May 10-11, 2022 in St. Paul, MN. Watch for more details soon!

Customized training is also available. Here the FINPACK Team will work with your financial institution to provide the specific training you need. You will work with the FINPACK trainer to determine the tools, topics, and depth your credit analysis team needs. Use this as a refresher or take a deep dive into specific credit analysis tools.

Pauline Van Nurden is currently the Associate Director for the FINPACK Team. She has been with the team since 2017 as an Economist.

Prior to joining the FINPACK Team, she worked as a lender. This provides her valuable industry experience and knowledge in her work with FINPACK. Pauline holds a Master’s Degree in Agricultural Education and Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Economics, both from the University of Minnesota.
